The author travels around the links of the British Isles. In no particular order, he takes you back and forth between the past and present, stopping between shots with essays on remarkable experiences engendered on the links. It’s a darn good walk no matter how high the grass where you are looking for your shot.
The familiar names are here, Muirfield, Carnoustie, St. Andrews, Turnberry, Ballybunion, Portrush and County Down, but many lesser known that are worth the journey across the pond in their own right. Twenty-five full color photographs feature links recently discovered by the author. This is a companion book to Across the Pond.
From northern Scotland to the West country of England and little visited parts of Ireland, be ready for some eye-popping and mind- opening golf.
